Together with the community, we will use the following FRAMEwork to bring Collingswood Forward:
Keep Collingswood accessible for families, young people, and older adults alike.
Reexamine the role and use of PILOTs in the borough.
Meet affordable housing obligations from both the needs of the community and requirements from the state.
Reevaluate spending allotment borough-wide and reallocate funding where possible.
Examine Borough recreation survey results to lay out an implementation timeline using the community's input.
Consider savings from potential shared service opportunities.
Increase transparency on policies to build trust in local government.
Invite increased civic participation and authentic dialogue between the Commissioners and community.
Collaborate with county and regional mayors, housing partners, and other stakeholders to tap into additional resources to help keep Collingswood a highly sought after place to live.
Modernize and streamline processes to automate water/sewer billing and payment, pet licenses, pool tags, summer camp signup, and similar borough business.
Increase participation with the small business community in town.
Prioritize road safety, including enforcement at notable intersections, traffic calming efforts, signage, and pedestrian and bicycle safety.
Maintain a clear line of communication between Borough Hall and the school district.
Work collaboratively with the school district to address immediate and long-term facilities needs.
Strategize long term, tax-neutral solutions to systemic budgetary constraints.
